 EDUVISION





The Edu Vision is a unique theme pavilion that hosts leading institutions, academic bodies, universities, research and other stakeholders associated with the education sector. Edu Vision aims at providing an excellent platform to varied organizations operating in the academic space and allows them to showcase their innovative models and offerings. International universities, research institutes, state-level universities, colleges, academicians, public sector organizations and corporate working in the education space form this pavilion.

 

It is pertinent to mention that thousands of high school and junior college students throng the exhibition wherein different universities and other educational institutes could attract potential students by displaying their various courses, programs, campus facilities etc. Also large number of decision makers of educational organizations like Vice Chancellors, Principals, Deans etc. are present in the expo thus entrepreneurs and innovators in education space can network/interact with them.

 

Many leading educational organizations like IIT Madras, NCERT, IGNOU, SRM University, KIIT, Meghe Group of Institutions, Sinhgad Group of Institutions, Karnataka State Women University, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, NEHU, Nirma University, Angurao University, Punjab University, Annamalai University, State Institution of Education Technology – Kerala, Springer, Wiley, S Chand and Company, Mc Graw Hill Education, Oxford University Press, NBT, Young India Films, Kerala University etc have been some of the participants in PoI expo.



THE VENUE: UNIVERSITY OF AGRICULTURAL SCIENCES, BENGALURU

University of Agricultural Sciences Bangalore, a premier institution of agricultural education and research in the country, began as a small agricultural research farm in 1899 on 30 acres of land at Hebbal, Bengaluru, donated by Her Excellency Maharani Kempa Nanjammanni Vani Vilasa Sannidhiyavaru, the Regent of Mysore. This developed into a Residential School in 1913 at Hebbal which offered "Licentiate in Agriculture" and diploma in agriculture from1920; this School was upgraded to Agriculture College in 1946 which offering a degree programs in Agriculture.
